Your right to dispute and correct information
CreditLink follows the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). If you see information you believe is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to dispute it. We investigate within 30 days, verify against your bank data (Plaid) and merchant records, and correct or delete anything that cannot be verified.
How to submit a dispute
- • Include your full name, email, phone, and the item you are disputing.
- • Tell us why it is incorrect and provide any supporting documents (optional).
- • Send to support@creditlink.app.
Our investigation steps
Acknowledge your dispute and open a case.
Verify the record using Plaid transaction history (ownership, dates, amounts) and merchant details.
If verified, we confirm the record; if not, we correct or delete it.
Furnish updates to the bureaus and notify you of the outcome.
We complete investigations within 30 days (or 45 days if you supply additional information mid-investigation).
If data cannot be verified
When information cannot be verified, we delete or correct it and stop furnishing it. We also mark the tradeline inactive until a valid pattern is re-established.
